Aoife O’Rourke has clinched gold at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool today.
The Roscommon boxer beat Turkey’s Busra Isildar by unanimous decision in the 75kg final.
It rounds off Ireland’s best haul at world level since 2015, with Grainne Walsh and Patsy Joyce both landing bronze medals.
