The Ant-Man stays locked in and remains focused on obtaining his first championship with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

What fans see in him is a player who has never been shy about showing his confidence, both on and off the court, which is greatly appreciated by many.

After their win against the Kings on Friday, he was asked about the pressure and expectations, given that he was in the spotlight as one of the next great players to play in the league.

“I don’t think it’s no pressure. I don’t think I’m under a spotlight. I don’t really think I’m a superstar. I think to some people I may be. But to myself, I’m really not. So I don’t really put no pressure on myself. They got other guys in the league for that,” Edwards said.

It was actually a great mindset and example for young players to embrace the pressure by remaining grounded and focused on the real mission.

Edwards is one of the current faces of the NBA, expected to earn his first title soon, having often fallen short in the Eastern Conference finals or postseason.

The 6-foot-4 superstar is averaging 27.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists while shooting from 49.7% this season, which is considered a high percentage due to its above-average points per game.
