Washington Wizards have added guard Kadary Richmond on a 10-day contract.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound guard is in his first season as a professional after a five-year college career that included stops at Syracuse Orange men’s basketball, Seton Hall Pirates men’s basketball, and St. John’s Red Storm men’s basketball.

The 24-year-old participated in Summer League and preseason action with Washington before joining the Capital City Go-Go.

In 23 games with the Go-Go, including 15 starts, Richmond has averaged 8.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Richmond spent his graduate season at St. John’s, where he posted averages of 12.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Over the course of his college career, he earned two All-Big East selections – first-team honors in 2023-24 and second-team recognition in 2024-25.
