The Washington Wizards have signed wing Kadary Richmond and guard Alondes Williams to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts, according to RealGM. Both players are expected to join the Capital City Go-Go in the G League after being waived later in the preseason.
Richmond, 24, began his college career at Syracuse, where he averaged 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists as a freshman. He later transferred to Seton Hall, becoming a first-team All-Big East selection as a senior with averages of 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
Richmond also spent a season at St. John’s under Rick Pitino, posting 12.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
Williams has NBA experience with stints in Brooklyn, Miami, and Detroit, appearing in nine games with limited minutes. In the G League, he averaged 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game over 32 contests last season.
Both Richmond and Williams are set to compete for a roster spot during training camp. The Exhibit 10 contracts allow Washington to retain flexibility while helping the players continue their professional development in the G League.
