Jannik Sinner has come from a set down against Alexander Zverev to become a two-time Wimbledon champion.

The world number one ground down the French Open winner, after both players traded sets on a tie-break.

It took almost three hours for a break of serve, but Sinner came through to claim a fifth Grand Slam title on the occasion of his 100th match win at major tournaments.

Earlier, Britain’s Alfie Hewett was beaten in the wheelchair singles final, losing to Japanese top seed Tokito Oda in straight sets.
