Golden State Warriors guard Seth Curry, sidelined for the past 18 games with a sciatic nerve-related injury, is showing progress in his recovery. The team announced Saturday that Curry has advanced to on-court workouts alongside his daily rehab routine.

Curry, 35, has appeared in just two games this season, averaging 7.0 points and 1.5 assists while shooting 50 percent from three-point range. Stephen Curry continues to lead the team with 27.2 points per game and Brandin Podziemski contributes 12.1 points per outing.

The Warriors are currently 27-23, sitting eighth in the Western Conference, with a recent one-game losing streak. Golden State has struggled with consistency, having lost five of their last eight games.

Golden State’s medical staff will re-evaluate Seth Curry in two weeks to determine his readiness for game action. The team has emphasized a cautious approach, aiming to avoid setbacks while reintegrating him into the rotation ahead of a stretch of February games against playoff-contending teams such as the 76ers, Suns, and Lakers.

Golden State’s remaining schedule includes 10 games in February, with a mix of home and road matchups, including key contests against Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Boston. The Warriors will look to solidify a playoff spot in the competitive Western Conference, where the eighth seed is currently held with a 27-23 record.
