Defending world champion Max Verstappen has qualified on pole for the sprint race at Formula One’s United States Grand Prix.
The Red Bull finished clear of Lando Norris, and his McLaren teammate and championship leader Oscar Piastri in Austin.
Verstappen – who’s 69 points off the pace in the drivers’ standings – has 12 wins in the format.
