Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton recently shared a humorous anecdote about LeBron James from their time together on the 2024 Team USA Olympic roster.

Appearing on Cold As Balls with Kevin Hart, Haliburton described the generational differences inside the locker room, noting that younger players affectionately referred to LeBron James and Kevin Durant as “Unc.”

During the interview, Haliburton recalled walking into the training room to find James watching The Sopranos on his iPad — at full volume and without headphones.

“Nobody is saying anything to him,” Haliburton told Hart. “So I tap him on the shoulder like you’re literally the Beats guy why don’t you got no headphones on.”

James, a longtime ambassador for Beats by Dre, was casually streaming the show out loud, seemingly unbothered.

According to Haliburton, James explained that he was watching The Sopranos for the fourth time — and still laughing hard at scenes.

Haliburton, 25, was one of the younger voices on a veteran-heavy Team USA roster that included not only James and Durant, but also Steph Curry and Jayson Tatum.

The 2024 Olympic team brought together a wide age range of NBA stars, blending experience with emerging talent.

James, now 40, was the oldest player on the squad, returning to Olympic competition for the first time since 2012.

Cold As Balls is hosted by Kevin Hart and features athletes in candid conversations, often set in unconventional environments like an ice bath.

New episodes of Cold As Balls drop every Tuesday on the Laugh Out Loud YouTube channel.

The current season features guests from various sports, including Saquon Barkley, Lamar Jackson, Bijan Robinson, Mike Evans, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Kike Hernandez, and Vernon Davis.
