Formula One icon Eddie Jordan has passed away at the age of 76 following a battle with cancer. The former team owner, who led a private team for 15 years and won four Grand Prix, was known for his “rock and roll” image and bold approach in the motorsport world.

The Formula One president has paid tribute to Eddie Jordan, describing him as “genuine and brilliant” following his death. Jordan’s team took on established names, notably giving Michael Schumacher his Formula One debut. Three-time world champion Sir Jackie Stewart also honored Jordan, acknowledging his unique personality in the sport.
