Philadelphia 76ers forward Trendon Watford spoke about carrying a chip on his shoulder following Saturday’s 130-120 home win vs. the Toronto Raptors (20 points/17 rebounds/10 assists/1 block/8-10 FG/1-2 3-PT/3-5 FT/+12 +/-).

Reporter: “You had probably the best game of your career: triple-double, 17 rebounds, crazy efficiency. You’ve been under-the-radar your whole career, do you feel that you have to make a statement? You have to show people who you truly are as a basketball player?”

Watford: “Yeah. Being undrafted, you sort of get looked over a lot. You know what I mean? So I’ve been looked over a lot the last five years of my career, and I just carry that chip every day, carry that chip with me. Sort of just have that chip with me, that’s pretty much just my approach.”
