Liverpool have agreed a fee with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola after the French club lowered their demands for the forward. Liverpool have also enquired about the availability of Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr as Andoni Iraola looks to add wide attacking threat to his squad, after the Reds had also seen two bids for Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh knocked back.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have insisted there is “zero per cent chance” they sell Julian Alvarez to Barcelona this summer and claim they are “the only victims” in the protracted transfer saga. The 26-year-old forward has made it clear that he would like to join Barcelona but Arsenal continue to monitor the situation and may move to make a late deal for the Argentina international. The Independent understands that Atletico would like Alvarez’s future to be decided by Friday.
Elsewhere, Manchester City have sealed a €100m deal for Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi and have sold Savio to Tottenham in a deal worth £85m. They are also interested in Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo and could yet reignite a move for Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, making him potentially the biggest transfer of the summer. Chelsea are also in talks to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and could turn back to Bournemouth’s Alex Scott if they sell Fernandez.

Wrexham sign Kabore as Man City clearout continnues
Wrexham have signed Issa Kabore on a three-year deal from Manchester City following his successful loan spell at the SToK Cae Ras.
The 25-year-old Burkina Faso wing-back joins for a reported £2million fee after making 32 appearances for the Sky Bet Championship club last season.
Kabore told the Wrexham website: “I’m very happy to be back. It feels good to be here again.
“Everybody knows our ambition is to get to the Premier League, and I’m here to fight for that promotion.”
After making Kabore his fourth summer signing, Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said: “We’re delighted to welcome Issa back to the football club. We’re looking forward to working with him again and watching him really develop as a player this coming season.”
Delap convinced by Glasner project

Jack Grealish is considering his options after receiving interest from Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton over the summer, according to The Times.
The Manchester City winger recently made his return to the City team under new manager Enzo Maresca, but is not in the manager’s first-team plans and is being pursued for a loan move by several Premier League clubs.
Everton did not exercise the £50m purchase option at the end of his loan last season, but could still return for the 30-year-old. The most interesting option would be a return to his boyhood club, Villa, who Grealish captained before departing for City.
