Tralee-native Ryan Leonard has been included in the final 12-man Irish squad and could make his FIBA EuroBasket debut during next weekend’s 2029 Pre-Qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg.
The Limerick Sport Eagles player will be joined by Jordan Blount of Flexachem KCYMS and another former Tralee Warriors player, Rap Buivydas who now plays with Belfast Star.
Ireland are at home to Azerbaijan on Friday 27th of February and Luxembourg on Monday March 2nd – both at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght.
