The Minnesota Timberwolves have officially re-signed guard Bones Hyland, a move that had been anticipated for some time as both parties were expected to eventually agree on a deal.

Standing 6-foot-2, Hyland just completed his fourth NBA season, splitting time between the LA Clippers and the Timberwolves.

Over the course of the 2024-25 campaign, he appeared in 24 games, averaging 6.2 points on 39.8% shooting, including a career-best 39.0% from beyond the arc, along with 1.3 assists in 10.0 minutes per contest.

Hyland initially joined the Wolves on a Two-Way contract on February 27, and throughout his NBA career, he has posted averages of 9.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over 186 games, including 10 starts, representing the Denver Nuggets, Clippers, and Timberwolves.

He earned All-Rookie Second Team honors in the 2021-22 season after averaging 10.1 points on 40.3% shooting, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 19.0 minutes per game.

Hyland was originally selected with the 26th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets, under then-general manager Tim Connelly, marking the start of his professional career.
