The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed guard Chris Youngblood to a two-way contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Youngblood, who went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, earned his deal after joining the Thunder for Summer League and turning heads during preseason play. His performance, highlighted by a 25-point outing against Indiana, secured him a developmental spot within one of the league’s youngest rosters.

The 23-year-old guard arrives in Oklahoma City following a standout college career that spanned four programs — Alabama, South Florida, and Kennesaw State, where he first rose to prominence. At Kennesaw State, Youngblood led the Owls to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023 and was named First-Team All-ASUN.

After transferring to South Florida, he continued to impress under coach Amir Abdur-Rahim. Youngblood averaged 15.3 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 41.6% from beyond the arc, earning AAC co-Player of the Year honors and helping the Bulls capture the conference regular-season title.

For his final collegiate season, the Alabama native chose to play for Nate Oats at Alabama, returning home to Tuscaloosa. There, he contributed 10.3 points per game and remained one of the team’s most efficient perimeter shooters.

Youngblood’s college career showcased steady growth, averaging 13.5 points across 150 games while shooting 39.3% from three-point range and over 80% from the foul line.

During the 2025–26 preseason, Youngblood appeared in six games, averaging 11.3 points in limited minutes while displaying consistent shooting confidence and poise.

Under the NBA’s two-way structure, Youngblood will split time between the Thunder and their G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.
