Three Kerry players have been selected on the 2026 PwC Football All-Star team.
David Clifford is named at full-forward and moves onto seven career All-Star awards, joining Stephen Cluxton and Mikey Sheehy on that total.
Ballydonoghue’s Jason Foley earns his third All-Star at full-back, while Dr Crokes goalkeeper Shane Murphy receives his first award, just days after winning the Kerry County Championship.
It’s also the first time a county has won back-to-back All-Star goalkeeper awards with two different players.
Radio Kerry commentator Tim Moynihan says Murphy’s selection is well deserved.
All-Ireland champions Mayo lead the way with six players selected.
Kobe McDonald becomes the youngest-ever player to receive a Football All-Star, while Sam Callinan, Enda Hession, Jack Carney, Ryan O’Donoghue and Darragh Beirne are the other Mayo recipients.
Eight counties are represented on this year’s team.
Westmeath’s Ronan Wallace, Dara McDonnell of Louth, Tyrone midfielder Conn Kilpatrick, Armagh’s Jarlaith Óg Burns, Stephen O’Hanlon of Monaghan and Dublin’s Niall Scully complete the team.
The Hurling All-Star team will be revealed tomorrow night.
