The Irish Camogie and Hurling squads for International Rules Series has been announced

The Irish camogie and hurling squads for the International Rules Series have been named.

All-Ireland winners Darragh McCarthy and Eoghan Connolly from Tipperary are amongst the hurlers named in the squad.

Eoin Murphy from Kilkenny is also part of the traveling group and Dan Morrissey of Limerick who has been made captain.

Antrim’s Terence McNaughton and Michael Kavanagh of Kilkenny jointly manage the side.

The camogie panel includes players from nine counties with the team captained by Saoirse McCarthy from Cork.

The camogie side are managed by Ger Manley from Cork.

The Irish sides take on their Scottish shinty counterparts at Bught Park on Saturday.
