Ireland women’s head coach Carla Ward has drafted Stephen Neligan into her backroom team for their upcoming World Cup playoff against Kazakhstan.
Brian Sorensen had initially been recruited as an assistant coach, but has now taken interim charge of WSL side Aston Villa.
Neligan previously served on Sorensen’s coaching staff at Everton, before the latter was sacked back in February.
