San Antonio Spurs have released Jeremy Sochan. The forward played in 28 of the team’s 53 games this season, posting averages of 4.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 12.8 minutes per contest.
Sochan had been seeking a move prior to the trade deadline in hopes of earning a larger role elsewhere, but no trade was completed.
San Antonio originally selected the player with the ninth overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Over four seasons with the franchise, the former Baylor standout averaged 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 25.3 minutes per game.
Following the move, the Spurs’ roster now sits at 17 players.
