Second placed Derry City handed the league leaders their third defeat in a row thanks to a 2-1 victory at the Ryan McBride Brandywell.
It leaves 3 points between the sides but the Hoops have a better goal difference and a game in hand over their chasers.

The win also means Derry are qualified for European football next season.
Meanwhile it finished all square 2-2 between Bohemians and Shelbourne in the Dublin derby at Dalymount Park.
Ross Tierney and Jordan Flores put Bohs 2-0 up but John Martin and Harry Wood gave the champions a point.
