Rosenior agrees to become new manager of Chelsea

Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Liam Rosenior as the club’s new head coach.

The former Brighton player joins from French side Strasbourg and has signed a six-and-a-half-year contract.

Rosenior – who has had spells in charge of Hull and Derby – succeeds Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.

Elsewhere, West Brom have sacked their manager Ryan Mason with the club 18th in the Premier League.
