The Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks released their injury reports ahead of Sunday’s meeting at Fiserv Forum, where both teams enter with winning records but key rotation pieces unavailable.
Houston lists four players out, including Fred VanVleet, who continues recovering from right knee ACL repair. Dorian Finney-Smith remains sidelined after left ankle surgery.
Two-way guards Isaiah Crawford and Kevon Harris are also out, limiting Houston’s back-end depth as it opens a central division road test.
The Rockets’ attack has leaned on Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun, who combine for 46.8 points per game. Durant’s scoring has been steady through eight appearances, while Sengun’s playmaking has driven Houston’s offensive spacing.
Amen Thompson enters the matchup averaging 18.0 points with consistent pressure in transition. His minutes gain added value without VanVleet available to organize sets in the half court.
Houston’s frontcourt rotation remains crowded but productive. Sengun, Steven Adams, and Clint Capela give the Rockets multiple screening options against Milwaukee’s drop coverages.
Milwaukee lists four players on its report as well. Alex Antetokounmpo remains out on his two-way contract, while Taurean Prince continues to recover from a neck strain.
Kevin Porter Jr. is sidelined after right knee meniscus surgery, removing a secondary handler from the Bucks’ perimeter group. His absence increases responsibilities for Cole Anthony and Ryan Rollins.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable with left knee patellar tendinopathy. He has played through the issue while averaging 33.4 points and 12.9 rebounds, and his availability remains central to Milwaukee’s interior scoring.
The Bucks have leaned on Kyle Kuzma, Gary Trent Jr., and Myles Turner to support Antetokounmpo, with each providing stability in Milwaukee’s spacing and defensive structure.
Milwaukee enters at 6-3 after a win over Chicago, while Houston looks to improve to 6-3 after a road loss in San Antonio.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 PM ET at Fiserv Forum.
