The Republic of Ireland will face Qatar and tournament co-hosts Canada in pre-World Cup friendlies later this year.
Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side will welcome Qatar to the Aviva Stadium on May 28th, before taking on the Canadians in Montreal nine days later.
The Boys in Green first to have clear the qualifier play-offs next month, taking on Czechia in the semi-final in Prague.
