
The Toronto Raptors upset the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder 103-101 to earn their fourth straight win on Sunday night.
Immanuel Quickley dropped 23 points and grabbed 11 boards, R.J. Barrted added 14, and Scottie Barnes with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Raptors.
On the other hand, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 24 points on 8 of 11 shooting, reaching 117th consecutive games of scoring at least 20 points as the second-longest streak in NBA history.
Lu Dort contributed a season-high 19 points, Kenrich Williams added 15 and Chet Holmgren tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds for Oklahoma.
The Thunder was coming off a surprise home loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night as the third time this season that they lost consecutive games and just their fourth home loss.
Oklahoma was without starters Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein and key reserve Ajay Mitchell due to injuries.
Meanwhile, they also lsot guard Cason Wallace during the match due to a sore left groin.
The Raptors led 64-60 at halftime and held Gilgeous-Alexander to nine points on 2 for 5 shooting before the break.
Gilgeous-Alexander got going in the third quarter, and his driving layup gave the Thunder a 68-66 lead after scoring 12 points in the period to take an 81-79 lead into the fourth.
Toronto led 101-99 when Barnes blocked a short jumper by Holmgren.
Raptors’ Jamal Shead missed two free throws with 13 seconds remaining, but retained the rebound as Quickley was fouled to make two-free throws with 8.2 seconds left.
The Thunder will host the Pelicans on Tuesday, while Toronto will host the Knicks on Wednesday.
