Former Boston Celtics great Paul Pierce remembers being at the free-throw line one time when an opposing player invited Kevin Garnett to his wedding.

“He like, ‘Hey Kev, man. I just wanna invite you. I’m having my wedding this summer. I would like to invite you, man.’ And Kevin, man. Looked up and said, ‘Man… f*** you!’ I was like, ‘Oh, damn!’ I was like, ‘Damn KG!’ So, the one thing I did learn: Don’t talk to Kevin during the game, talk to him before or after or text him that. Like y’all over here telling him stuff during the game — he is in full gladiator mode right now dude. Leave him alone! Like come on, stop that y’all.”
