Here’s Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George on the challenges he faced during the 2024-25 season (averaged 16.2 PPG/5.3 RPG/4.3 APG/1.8 SPG/0.5 BPG/43.0% FG/49.3% 2-PT/35.8% 3-PT/81.4% FT in 41 games played).
(via Philadelphia 76ers):
“It was just a ton of stuff going on. It was a lot for me I think from a mental standpoint. A lot of stuff that was just going on that I kinda was trying to balance while being in a new situation. There was internal stuff for me. There was personal stuff for me. There was the fires that was going on out West where my home is. New situation. There was frustration from injuries. And then myself — holding myself accountable of not playing to the expectation that I had coming into the season. So there was just a ton of stuff that was weighing on me that going into next year, I’ll kinda be free from a lot of those and alleviated from a lot of those. And so, I do expect a better season. I expect a better turnaround for myself, for this team.”
