Partizan Mozzart Bet has formally confirmed that the club’s Executive Board has chosen not to accept Zeljko Obradovic’s resignation.
In an urgent session held on November 27, the board made clear that it fully stands behind the legendary coach and wants him to continue leading the team.
“On Thursday, November 27, an emergency meeting of the Executive Board of KK Partizan Mozzart Bet was held to address the situation in the club following yesterday’s irrevocable resignation of first-team head coach Zeljko Obradovic.
“Despite the announcement, the Executive Board unanimously decided – based on the proposal of club president Ostoja Mijailovic – not to accept Zeljko Obradovic’s resignation and to offer him unconditional support, expressing their wish for him to remain the head coach of KK Partizan Mozzart Bet and make the necessary moves to improve the team’s results.
“Following this decision, the club reached out to Zeljko Obradovic, asking him to reconsider his resignation, withdraw it, and continue his work with the team,” the official statement reads.
