Kerry All-Star defender Tom O’Sullivan and first-choice midfielder Diarmaid O’Connor have both been ruled out of this Saturday’s All-Ireland semi-final.

The Dingle corner-back came off with a calf injury during the win over Armagh and has not recovered in time to feature in this week’s squad to face Tyrone.

Diarmuid O’Connor remains sidelined with the shoulder injury he picked up in the victory over Cavan.

The Kerry manager says he’ll be without O’Sullivan and O’Connor for the showdown with Tyrone this weekend, though the Munster champions are hopeful that Tony Brosnan, Tadhg Morley, and Mike Breen will be available for selection.

Paul Geaney will also look to prove his fitness in training this week.
