
Dingle’s Mark O’Connor has been cleared to play in the All-Ireland club football final against St Brigid’s.
Aussie rules side Geelong cats have given an extended Christmas break to O’Connor in order to play in Croke Park on the 18th of January.

It’s now 10 years since O’Connor signed for Geelong and subsequently became one of only three Irish-born players to win an AFL title. He will return to Australia after the final to begin pre-season training with the Victoria based club.
