Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week, while Hawks forward Jalen Johnson claimed the honor in the East, the NBA announced Monday.

It’s Jokic’s second consecutive weekly win in the West and the 19th of his career. He powered Denver to a 3-0 road week, averaging “39.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.7 steals” with extraordinary efficiency on “.737/.643/.889” shooting splits.

His week featured a stunning performance against the Clippers, where he put up “52 points, 11 rebounds and six assists through only three quarters,” becoming the first player with that line in three periods since play-by-play tracking began in 1997/98.

He finished with 55 points on “18-of-23 from the field, 5-of-6 from three, and 14-of-16 from the line in 34 minutes.”

Denver has now won seven straight and sits at 10-2, behind only the 13-1 Thunder. Jokic, a three-time MVP, is currently producing career-best numbers across multiple categories in 2025/26.

Johnson earned his first Player of the Week honor after leading Atlanta to a perfect 4-0 Western road trip, the team’s first undefeated West swing of four-plus games since 1970/71.

He averaged “24.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 2.5 steals” on efficient “.603/.571/.783” shooting.

Johnson’s week peaked with a remarkable game in Utah, where he posted career highs of 31 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists and seven steals, becoming “the first player to meet all of those statistical benchmarks in a game since steals became an official stat in ’73/74.”

The Hawks are now 9-5 and tied for the East’s No. 3 seed.
