Nick Calathes is close to completing a move from AS Monaco to Partizan Mozzart Bet, according to Serbian outlet Meridian Sport.

The 36-year-old veteran guard is in advanced talks for a transfer that would reunite him with legendary coach Zeljko Obradovic, pending Monaco’s approval to release him from his current deal.

If finalized, Calathes would become Partizan’s second major midseason addition from a EuroLeague rival, following the signing of Bruno Fernando from Real Madrid.

The all-time EuroLeague leader in assists and steals, Calathes previously won the 2011 EuroLeague title under Obradovic at Panathinaikos. This season, he has averaged 3.7 points and 3.8 assists over 13 games with Monaco.

Partizan, currently 3–3 in EuroLeague play, has been active on the market amid a rash of injuries to key players including Carlik Jones, Shake Milton, Mario Nakic, Jabari Parker, and Aleksej Pokusevski.

The team faces Hapoel Tel Aviv in Sofia on Wednesday and FC Barcelona in Belgrade on Friday, potentially with Calathes making his return under Obradovic’s guidance.
