The Brooklyn Nets have exercised team options for the 2025-26 season on four players: Keon Johnson, Jalen Wilson, Tyrese Martin, and Drew Timme, according to a report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
All four players are entering the final guaranteed year of their respective contracts and will now remain under team control through next season.
Johnson, 23, appeared in 79 games for Brooklyn during the 2024-25 campaign, starting 56 times. He averaged 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 38.9% from the field and 31.4% from three-point range. The 6-foot-5 guard is entering the second year of a two-year, $4.5 million deal.
Wilson, a 6-foot-8 forward, played in 79 games as well, including 22 starts. The 24-year-old contributed 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest while shooting just under 40% from the floor and 33.7% from deep. The Nets drafted Wilson in the second round in 2023, and he will enter the final year of a three-year, $5 million rookie contract.
Martin, 26, emerged as a reliable rotation guard for Brooklyn after stints with the Hawks and in the G League. In 60 games this past season, he posted averages of 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 21.9 minutes. He hit 35.1% of his shots from long range and is set to earn the second and final year of his two-year, $2.8 million deal.
Timme, 24, joined the Nets in March after a productive run with the Long Island Nets, where he averaged 23.9 points and 10.3 rebounds in 29 G League games. He played nine games for Brooklyn, averaging 12.1 points and 7.2 rebounds while shooting 44.1% from the field. The undrafted forward out of Gonzaga is on a multi-year deal and will now enter year two of a two-year, $2 million agreement.
Brooklyn finished 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 26–56 record in 2024-25 and missed the postseason for the second straight year.
