The Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings are heading into Friday’s NBA Cup matchup at Golden 1 Center with several players listed as out or questionable.

Oklahoma City, currently 8-1, will be without Nikola Topic, Jalen Williams, Kenrich Williams, and Aaron Wiggins, while Luguentz Dort and Thomas Sorber are doubtful due to upper trap and ACL injuries, respectively.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren remain healthy and are expected to lead the Thunder’s lineup. Isaiah Hartenstein continues to anchor the team in the paint, averaging 10.7 rebounds per game. The Thunder have relied heavily on their starters, with Gilgeous-Alexander posting 33.3 points and 6.3 assists per game.

The Kings enter the game with a 3-5 record and will be without Dylan Cardwell, Daeqwon Plowden, and Isaiah Stevens due to G League assignments. Keegan Murray is sidelined recovering from a left thumb UCL injury, and Domantas Sabonis is questionable with a left rib contusion.

Sacramento’s core, including Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Malik Monk, remains available, with LaVine averaging 27.4 points through seven games.

Sacramento has struggled on the road this season, posting a 1-4 record away from home. The team will look to improve in front of their home crowd. Meanwhile, the Thunder are undefeated at home and have only one loss on the road.

Friday’s matchup will also impact early standings in West Group A, where the Phoenix Suns lead at 1-0 and the Utah Jazz trail at 0-1. Oklahoma City and Sacramento have not played any NBA Cup games yet.
