Reigning champion Shaun Murphy and current UK Championship holder Mark Selby both exited the Masters at the first hurdle yesterday.
Murphy suffered a 6-2 defeat to Wu Yize, while Selby lost to Xiao Guodong by the same scoreline.
The action continues this afternoon with Antrim’s Mark Allen up against Mark Williams.
