Munster have confirmed that the province’s pre-season friendly against Biarritz Olympique on Friday, August 22nd has been cancelled by the Basque club.
Biarritz Olympique informed Munster Rugby this week that due to a delay to pitch renovations at the Stade Aguilera, they are unable to host Munster Rugby for this pre-season fixture.
Munster Rugby and Biarritz Olympique explored alternative venues in the hope that the match could be fulfilled, but no viable and workable solutions were found.
