Here’s veteran point guard Monte Morris on getting to play in the Indiana Pacers’ fast-paced style.

“I think it’ll be good. This is maybe, I think, the first team I’ve been on in the league with pace that I’m used to. At Iowa State, we was playing fast, try to get the first to 90 points. I was in Denver, we played a little slower, and Minnesota and things like that. So here, being able to play with athletic guys, guys that can shoot it, you don’t got to bring the ball, walk it up every time. You can throw it ahead and play fast and just show my ability to pass the ball and be able to create. And also defense. I think taking on that challenge, picking up full: I think it’s a good thing to do.”
