Rory McIlroy recovered on the second day of golf’s PGA Championship to make his way back up the leaderboard – but he remains five shots off the leaders.
American pair Maverick McNealy and Alex Smalley lead the way on 4-under-par.
There were big name early exits – with Tommy Fleetwood, Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland all missing the cut.
