Chicago Bulls sophomore forward Matas Buzelis spoke about the team’s chemistry during their unbeaten start to the 2025–26 NBA season, highlighting the group’s unselfish play and collective focus.

“We’re all very connected,” Buzelis told The Athletic’s Joel Lorenzi. “We’re all not jealous of each other when we’re out there. We’re excited for the next person up who’s performing.”

The Bulls have opened the season 3–0 with wins over the Pistons, Magic, and Hawks. The balanced offense has been key to the early success, as six players are averaging double figures in scoring.

Nikola Vucevic has led the way with 20 points and 13 rebounds per game, anchoring the frontcourt and controlling the paint on both ends. Josh Giddey has added 19.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, giving the Bulls a reliable secondary playmaker.

Ayo Dosunmu has provided a spark off the bench, averaging 16.7 points while shooting efficiently in limited minutes. Tre Jones has also been a steady presence at point guard, averaging 13 points and 8.3 assists.

Buzelis, who has started all three games, has averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting efficiently from the field.

Patrick Williams and Kevin Huerter have rounded out a deep rotation, both contributing on both ends of the floor. Williams has averaged 9.3 points and 4 rebounds, while Huerter is adding 13.7 points per game with solid perimeter shooting.

The Bulls have emphasized team-oriented basketball under their new system, moving the ball fluidly and showing commitment on defense. Their early chemistry has been apparent, with 29.3 assists per game against only 16.3 turnovers.

Chicago hosts the Sacramento Kings next at the United Center on October 29 before facing the Knicks on October 31.
