Manchester United are reportedly preparing to open talks with Michael Carrick about extending his spell as head coach beyond the end of the season.
Formal discussions are expected before United’s final Premier League game against Brighton.
Carrick has won 10 of his 15 games in charge and guided the club back into the Champions League places.
