“But I do like big atmospheres. I really like to play in difficult and tough stadiums because I think you grow up seeing these games.

  • What Rashford lacked

“The chances come from the little runs behind the line. They were not as decisive as they can be.

“Both our wingers who started were not as impactful as they can be in club football. I’m not so sure why we struggled to bring the ball quickly to them.”

“What’s happening now is a sad effect of what’s been going on for the last 10-12 years.

  • Ayden Heaven injury latest

Heaven is tipped to give Manchester United’s defence a rare fitness boost.

Ruben Amorim‘s Red Devils have been blighted with backline injuries this season.

And the jinx hit 18-year-old Heaven at Leicester last Sunday.

The January deadline day recruit from Arsenal went down clutching his leg and needed lengthy treatment, before being carried off on a stretcher.

The England Under-19 star had arguably been United‘s best player at the King Power Stadium as they led 1-0 on the way to a 3-0 win.

But after the match he was seen leaving Leicester with his foot in a brace.

Now, however, the Londoner’s injury is reportedly “not thought to be serious”.

And that appears to confirm Heaven‘s own verdict on his progress.

He posted on social media earlier in the week: “Thank you guys for all the support.

“Have read all your messages, and I’m doing really well and recovering fast.”

  • Hojlund future

MANCHESTER UNITED striker Rasmus Hojlund has emerged as a target for Napoli, according to reports.

The 22-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford prior to the summer window.

Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Napoli want to sign him.

Man Utd allegedly want £50m for the striker, who is understood to be open to a return to Italy.

Napoli believe that convincing Hojlund to complete the switch will not be difficult.

Should the Denmark international swap United for Napoli this summer, it may open the door for a huge swap deal that could see Victor Osimhen head the other way.

  • Hojlund’s Ronaldo tribute

RASMUS HOJLUND has revealed the reason behind him copying Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration after he scored the winner for Denmark against Portugal.

Speaking to Danish outlet DR, he said: “Now, I’m not going to exaggerate, but Cristiano is everything to me.

“I fell in love with football because of Cristiano, I became a Manchester United fan because of Cristiano.

“I started self-training because of Cristiano, I started doing push-ups and sit-ups every day before I went to bed because of Cristiano, because I wanted to be Cristiano.”

  • Branthwaite latest

Man Utd are hot on the trail of Jarrad Branthwaite.

And now the Red Devils have been tipped to go all out and try and buy the Everton defender in a £50million plus deal.

Ruben Amorim’s side couldn’t afford a deal last summer.

However, they are ready to meet his price tag when the transfer window opens.

  • Greenwood future

MASON GREENWOOD could be on his way out of Marseille this summer following a “lack of effort”, according to reports.

Greenwood, 23, has fallen out of favour in France after his “attitude” was called into question by manager Roberto De Zerbi this month.

The forward, who joined Marseille from Manchester United in the summer, had been a regular starter for The Olympians all season, but had had to settle for cameos from the bench against Lens and PSG in recent weeks.

And manager De Zerbi seemed to hint that things need to change if Greenwood wants to keep his place in the side.

The former Brighton boss said: “No one can have more respect for him than I do.

“But that doesn’t change anything: I expect more from him. He has to do more, because what he is currently showing is not enough.

“If he wants to achieve his ambition of becoming a champion, he has to be more consistent, sacrifice more and be more determined.”

  • German international linked

Man Utd are monitoring German international Felix Nmecha, according to reports.

    And could demand over £50million.

  • More on Heaven

According to Manchester Evening News, Ayden Heaven’s out of his protective boot.

The defender was stretchered off against Leicester City last weekend, and the worst was feared.

But, it could be that the former Arsenal youth star is back sooner rather than later.

There is a possibility he could be back in training after the international break.
