  • Man Utd target Ruiz

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain star Fabian Ruiz.

That is according to Foot Mercato, who report United are interested in signing Ruiz.

The Red Devils, though, face tough competition from Al-Nassr this summer.

But it will be difficult to convince the Champions League winners to part ways with the midfielder.

  • Bayern still eye Rashford

Bayern Munich are still interested in signing Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford.

According to Bild, Bayern have added Rashford to a long list of targets.

But the forward is now behind the likes of Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

United want around £38.6million for the England international.

  • Man Utd rejected Duran

Fenerbahce have reached a deal to sign Al-Nassr star Jhon Duran on an initial season-long loan.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano claims Fener have agreed to cover Duran’s £340,000-per-week salary in full.

Romano said on his YouTube channel, that Manchester United were offered the same deal but rejected it.

That is because United were not prepared to destabilise their wage bill for the striker.

  • Bryan Mbeumo warning

Brentford warned Manchester United to stump up £65million for Bryan Mbeumo or else they will keep him.

The Bees rejected two bids from United worth up to £60m for Mbeumo.

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs but Brentford director of football Phil Giles reckons the versatile forward could stay next season.

If they leave it’ll be on our terms. Twenty Premier League goals last year [from Mbeumo], we expected lots of interest and there’s been lots of interest.

If he earned a massive move now and it was right for us financially, we’d be open to that.

But if he ended up here next season, I wouldn’t be massively surprised. We’d be delighted.

And that’s not off the table as well — so let’s see how it evolves.

  • Viktor Gyokeres blow

Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas has told Arsenal and Manchester United they will not budge on their valuation of Viktor Gyokeres in another transfer blow

Gyokeres has been left furious with Sporting over an alleged breach of a gentleman’s agreement that would let him leave for around £60million, which is lower than his release clause worth around £80m.

And the striker is now refusing to play for the Portuguese champions again.

The Gunners were hoping to land the Sweden international for a bargain price, but Varandas has doubled down on only selling him for a fair market value.

The Sporting supremo has even threatened to keep the 27-year-old in Portugal if the North Londoners or any other suitor continue to low ball, hoping to receive close to £70m to seal the switch.

Sporting is very calm regarding Viktor Gyokeres. We do not need to sell him, but we remain sensitive to the dreams of Viktor and any of our athletes.

After weeks of meetings, we are not asking for the release clause and will be reasonable regarding the price we ask for Viktor. Today, I believe there is a strong probability he will leave.

We have been watching the market and I saw [Martin] Zubimendi, who is six months younger than Viktor, leave for £51m.

I saw Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, both forwards but who, in my opinion, do not have Viktor’s market value or quality, being negotiated for around £64m.

Given the demands we consider fair, I believe Viktor could leave – unless he has the worst agent in the world, which is hard for me to believe, because he is one of the best footballers in the world.

The player knows, the agent knows, and I can guarantee, with absolute certainty, that Viktor will not leave for £60m.

  • Andre Onana EXCLUSIVE

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is willing to loan Andre Onana out this summer.

Onana’s salary is so high it has been difficult to sell him after a poor season so the door is open to a temporary switch.

United are waiting for approaches and would prefer a European club to come in rather than a Premier League rival.

Monaco have asked the question but even with their wealth it would still be a stretch to pay the goalkeeper’s wages.

Now a replacement for the 29-year-old is being worked on with Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez a top target — but he would cost a big fee.

Botafogo star John Victor is another option after catching the eye at the Club World Cup.

The Red Devils were watching Victor last summer but have yet to commit.

However, the Brazilian is open to any club in England and available at a bargain £6million.

  • Mbeumo price tag

Brentford are demanding £65million for Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo this summer.

United saw their second bid of £55m before add-ons of £7.5m knocked back on Friday, but remain confident of striking a deal.

The Red Devils had already seen an opening bid worth £45m rejected.

The Bees are now holding out for a total package of £65m, meaning there is only a small gap in valuations at this point.

As SunSport revealed earlier this month, Mbeumo’s preference has always been a move to Old Trafford despite former boss Thomas Frank wanting him at Tottenham.

  • Man Utd make contact over transfer of England ace

Man Utd have identified Ollie Watkins as a potential solution to their striker troubles as they seek to replace Rasmus Hojlund, according tor The Athletic.

The report adds that Red Devils chiefs have been in touch with Aston Villa, via intermediaries, about a deal for the 29-year-old as they weigh up a number of options.

Contact had been ongoing between the two clubs about the sale of Marcus Rashford for £40m and included talks about Watkins going the other way, but Rashford’s desire to move to Barcelona squashed the deal.

A “check call” on Watkins is said to be the extent of the dialogue at present, with Man Utd focusing on agreeing a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and sales to free up additional funds.

  • Brentford chief issues Man Utd Mbeumo transfer warning

Brentford have warned Manchester United Bryan Mbeumo will stay in London unless their valuation is met.

The Bees have rejected two United bids for their top scorer but remain in talks over a deal.

Phil Giles, Brentford’s director of football, said he would not be surprised if Mbeumo remained at the club for next season.

The forward scored 20 goals last season and is valued at £65million, with United’s most recent bid being £55m before add-ons.

Giles, who also effectively confirmed captain Christian Norgaard’s £9.3m switch to Arsenal, said: “The players mentioned, if they stayed then great, but if they leave it’ll be, in a cliche, on our terms.”

  • Rashford returns to Man Utd

Aston Villa have confirmed Marcus Rashford has returned to Man Utd following his loan spell at the club.

A statement said: “Marco Asensio, Marcus Rashford and Axel Disasi each joined Villa in February on loan deals until the end of the 2024/25 season…

“Forward Rashford made 17 appearances for the club and registered a total of nine goal contributions across all competitions, bagging a brace in our FA Cup quarter-final against Preston North End…

“Everyone at Aston Villa would like to thank each of the players for their efforts and amazing commitment to the club and wish them all the very best for the future.”

Rashford had been in line to join the Villans in a £40m deal agreed in the loan which took him under Unai Emery’s tutelage.

However, his desire to join Barcelona put paid to the idea of a transfer to the Midlands.

  • Man Utd tie down wonderkid

Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel, 14, has signed a new deal to keep him at Old Trafford.

Gabriel, dubbed ‘kid Messi’ by fans, had appeared set to move amid interest from some of Europe’s biggest club.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich were all said to be ready to swoop.

But, according to the Mail, a crucial intervention from club officials persuaded him to commit his future to the Red Devils.

It is claimed that talks with director of football Jason Wilcox and director of football negotiations Matt Hargreaves convinced the young star to stay.

Joseph Junior Andreou Gabriel played futsal as a child alongside footballing spells at ChelseaArsenal and West Ham.

  • Former Man Utd boss in line to sign Abraham

Ex-Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is lining up a transfer for ex-Chelsea star Tammy Abraham.

Solskjaer wants the England striker to join him in Turkey with Besiktas.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been made between Roma and Besiktas, with Abraham set to jet in for a medical soon.

Abraham would be a statement signing Solskjaer, who took the reins in Turkey in January after a three-year spell away from management following his ill-fated tenure with the Red Devils.

  • Tyrell Malacia returning

Manchester United loanee Tyrell Malacia will return to Ruben Amorim’s side next month.

Malacia spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven.

However, PSV confirmed they would not be making a permanent deal with the full-back.

The Netherlands international will now look to convince Amorim he is worth a spot in his squad.

  • Man Utd ‘set internal deadline for Mbeumo deal’

Man Utd have set themselves a deadline of July 7 to complete a transfer to Bryan Mbeumo, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils are keen to move quickly this summer and do not want to be stalled on a prolonged-saga for the 20-goal Brentford ace.

They have given themselves until next Monday, when pre-season begins at Carrington, to finalise a deal.

  • Man Utd make offer for Mbeumo reunion party at Old Trafford

Man Utd are considering reuniting Bryan Mbeumo with Ivan Toney, according to sensational reports.

In their bid to land a new striker, Man Utd have identified Toney as a possible striker solution after he scored 23 goals in 30 games for Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

Transfer News Live claim Man Utd chiefs have bid £30m up front, plus £5m in add-ons, for the 29-year-old.

  • Chelsea in touch with Man Utd over Garnacho transfer

Chelsea are in contact with Man Utd over the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho, according to The Athletic.

They report the Blues and Red Devils have been discussing deals regarding Christopher Nkunku and Garnacho.

The winger was told to find a new club by Ruben Amorim following his strop at being dropped to the bench for the Europa League final.

  • Man Utd boost in Ekitike

Man Utd have been boosted in their Hugo Ekitike pursuit as Eintracht Frankfurt near a £25.6m deal for Union SG striker Franjo Ivanovic.

That could open the path for Ekitike to leave amid interest from Man Utd.

However, yesterday it was reported that Arsenal have also joined the race for the Frenchman.

  • A closer look: Watkins vs other targets

Watkins, originally an alternative striker target to Hojlund in 2023, represents a different style of deal to those struck by Man Utd transfer chiefs last summer, and is also different to any targets they have already been linked with this year.

The likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen are all at most in their mid-20s.

At 29, Watkins is more of a player who could improve the team now but would likely need replacing within a couple of seasons.

His goal record speaks for itself, with 75 goals in 184 games for Villa in the Premier League, and last season only Alexander Isak (29) and Erling Haaland (25) registered more goal contributions than Watkins (24) among orthodox strikers.

Villa negotiated with Arsenal over a transfer in January, but Villa’s asking price of £60m – which they still feel he is worth six months on – was too high for the Gunners who rated him at £40m.

  • BREAKING: Mbeumo ‘happy to stay at Brentford’ if Man Utd deal not struck

Bryan Mbeumo is happy to stay at Brentford if a transfer deal is not struck with Man Utd.

That is according to Brentford’s director of football, Phil Giles, who told Sky Sports: “There is significant interest in Bryan. His current preference has been well publicised.

“He had an unbelievable season and we expected interest in him. From what I understand, he is also, if needs be, happy to stay at Brentford next year as well.

“We’ve spoken to Bryan and his representatives. It’s not a given that he’s going to depart this summer.

“If we get the right offer, there is the potential for a deal to be done but there is only so much we can say now on that.”

While the move shines well on the 20-goal attacker for his professionalism, Man Utd chiefs may have secretly hoped he might push harder to force the issue.

Then again, with the Red Devils only £2.5m away from Brentford’s valuation in terms of pure value, a deal will surely be found soon which will satisfy all parties.

Man Utd’s last bid was £55m up front with another £7.5m in add-ons to take it to £62.5m overall. Brentford want £65m to sell their star man.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Partenopei have invited Osimhen for medical tests ahead of pre-season in July.

The medical will take place either on July 14 or 15 and it is not yet clear if the striker will accept this invitation.

The same source claims the Serie A champions will continue looking for a suitor that will meet their financial demands for the Nigeria international.

Galatasaray are expected to continue pushing for the 26-year-old, who spent last season on loan with the Turkish giants, while Al-Hilal are not completely out of the question.
