Liverpool will edge closer to the Premier League title with victory over Fulham this afternoon.

A win would move them 14 points clear of second-placed Arsenal, who were held to a 1-all draw at Everton yesterday.

Nottingham Forest remain third, despite losing 2-1 to Aston Villa, who boosted their own hopes of Champions League qualification.

Crystal Palace had two players sent off as they beat rivals Brighton 2-1, with Albion also ending with 10-men.

West Ham and Bournemouth ended 2-2, while Wolves took a massive step towards safety with a 2-1 win away at Ipswich.

That result means Southampton will be relegated if they lose to Tottenham this afternoon.
