Liverpool FC Women have appointed former captain Niamh Fahey as the club’s first technical co-ordinator.
The 37-year-old, who retired last season after 125 appearances for the Reds and 115 caps for Ireland, will help shape the club’s long-term strategy, focusing on player development, recruitment and pathways from the academy to the first team.
Fahey enjoyed a decorated career with Arsenal, Chelsea and Bordeaux, winning multiple league and cup titles, and also represented Ireland at the 2023 World Cup.
