While the Golden State Warriors are seen as the frontrunner, big man Al Horford has also been linked with the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, though no firm offers have been reported from either team.
The Lakers have a clear need for veteran depth at center behind newly acquired Deandre Ayton and have actively been pursuing frontcourt reinforcements.
The Knicks, meanwhile, have been exploring ways to bolster their bench unit and add championship experience after falling short in the 2024 playoffs.
