Saddiq Bey has emerged as one of the most sought-after trade assets in the NBA this season. According to Evan Sidery, the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns have all inquired about acquiring the Pelicans’ forward.

Bey, 26, is in the second year of a three-year, $19 million contract. Over the past month, he has averaged 21.2 points, 6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 44.4% from three-point range. His recent performance has caught the attention of multiple playoff-contending teams.

The Pelicans currently sit at 13–38, last in the Western Conference, limiting their playoff prospects. Bey’s consistent scoring and spacing ability make him a valuable addition for teams seeking wing depth and shooting.

In New York, the Knicks are 31–18 and riding a six-game win streak. Adding Bey could bolster their perimeter scoring alongside Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges. The team has shown interest in improving depth for a potential Eastern Conference Finals push.

The Lakers, at 29–19 and sixth in the West, are looking for veteran wing scoring to complement Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and LeBron James. Bey’s ability to stretch the floor aligns with Los Angeles’ need for spacing and secondary scoring.

Phoenix, 30–20 and currently seventh in the West, also sees Bey as a fit to pair with Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks.

Bey has started 36 of 44 games this season for New Orleans, averaging 30.2 minutes per contest. He is shooting 45.2% from the field and 34.8% from three, adding 5.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
