Despite speculation surrounding his professionalism in Dallas, members of the Lakers organization have expressed satisfaction with the All-NBA guard’s commitment since arriving in February.
According to Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoops Journal, sources within the Lakers said Doncic’s work habits mirror what he did in Dallas, noting, “Nothing is different except the jersey.”
Doncic was traded to Los Angeles in a blockbuster midseason deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Mavericks, shocking many across the league.
The Slovenian star had reportedly not been informed about the trade until it was finalized, fueling rumors of friction between him and Dallas management.
Despite that narrative, Doncic has continued to rely on his personal performance staff and maintains a consistent regimen on game days, off days, and during team practices.
