Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent will miss 2 to 4 weeks after an MRI confirmed a sprained left ankle, NBA insider Shams Charania reported Monday.
Vincent’s absence comes as the Lakers navigate a busy early-season schedule, including upcoming road games against Minnesota and Memphis.
Vincent has appeared in three games this season, averaging 3.7 points across 24 minutes per game. He contributed off the bench in Los Angeles’ wins over Minnesota and Sacramento, though he struggled shooting early in the season.
The Lakers are currently 2-2, with standout performances from Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic. Vincent’s injury removes a key guard from an already dynamic rotation.
The Lakers’ upcoming schedule includes a return to Target Center on Wednesday and a trip to FedExForum on Friday.
