In Game 3, the Boston Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis logged 19 minutes off the bench in a recent game, but sources informed Shams Charania of ESPN that the big man is still grappling with lingering effects from a virus he contracted in March.

Charania reports that Porzingis has been experiencing significant “energy zaps” and fluctuations in his stamina over the past couple of months, making it challenging for him to maintain consistent performance.

Although he began to feel better leading up to the team’s first-round series, Porzingis experienced a setback and went through a “crash” right before Game 1 against the New York Knicks, complicating his efforts to fully recover.
