Killorglin’s Zoë Hyde says she’s delighted about becoming a world champion rower.
The 29-year-old and her team-mate Mags Cremen from Cork won Friday evening’s weather-delayed women’s doubles sculls final at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.
Zoë Hyde and Mags Cremen took gold for Ireland ahead of the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Speaking to John Drummey, she first discussed how the pair managed the pre-race weather delay.

Mags Cremen will be back the water today in the Mixed Double Sculls alongside Konan Pazzaia ((pron: Patz-eye-ah)) from five-past-three.
