
A goal in each half for Tomás Kennedy and Daniel Kirby respectively helped Kerry to a 12 point win in their opening game in the Dalata Hotel Group Munster U20s Football Championship away to Tipperary last night.
They won with a final score of 2-19 to 1-10 in New Inn.
Kennedy’s goal in the 5th minute set the Kingdom up for a half-time lead of 1-9 to 0-4 while Kirby hit the net in the 62nd minute to copper-fasten a deserved victory.

Kerry will face Cork in round 2 next Monday with the Rebels getting their campaign off to a winning start last night against Clare on a 3-16 to 1-13 scoreline.
