Kerry Into League Final After Rollercoaster Final Round

Kerry are through to the Allianz Football League Division One Final after an eight point Round 7 victory away to Galway on a final score of 3-24 to 2-19.

Paul Geaney contributed seven points, six from frees to Kerry’s 3-24 tally with the goals coming from Gavin White, Dylan Geaney and Damien Bourke.

Tyrone will join Derry in Division 2 next season even as the Red Hand beat Dublin by 2-20 to 1-14.

Armagh survived as the All Ireland champions beat Derry by 4-24 to 1-18.

Monaghan and Roscommon will play Division 1 Football next season.

They’ll face off in the Division 2 league final despite neither side winning this afternoon.

Monaghan ended the day on top even after a 24 point to 2-17 loss to Down.

Roscommon finished second despite a 2-16 to 1-19 draw with already relegated Westmeath.

Down will join the Lake County in Division 3 next year after Louth survived thanks to a 1-19 to 17 point win over Meath.

Cavan ended their campaign with a 21 to 19 point loss to Cork.

Kildare will face Offaly in the Division 3 final.

Both sides were promoted after wins over Antrim and Clare respectively.

That result means Antrim join winless Leitrim in the bottom tier after the latter suffered a 22 point loss to Sligo.

Fermanagh also had a 2 point win over Laois.

Limerick will play unbeaten Wexford in the Division 4 final.

The Treaty County strolled to a 4-24 to 1-17 win over Waterford this afternoon to book their passage to the decider.

James Naughton scored a massive 4-12 for Limerick today.

Wexford picked up their 7th win out of 7 with a 2-18 to 1-10 win over Longford.

Elsewhere Carlow beat London by a point and Wicklow had 7 points to spare over Tipperary.
